Nitrile rubber is produced by emulsion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile, and is mainly used in the manufacture of oil-resistant rubber products. Nitrile rubber is produced by emulsion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile, with low-temperature emulsion polymerization being the primary production method. It boasts excellent oil resistance, high abrasion resistance, good heat resistance, and strong adhesion. Its disadvantages include poor low-temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, inferior electrical properties, and relatively low elasticity. Nitrile rubber is mainly used in the manufacture of oil-resistant rubber products.
