Polyetherimide - PEI

PEI is an amorphous, amber-to-transparent thermoplastic with properties similar to those of the related plastic PEEK. Compared with PEEK, PEI is more cost-effective, but has lower impact strength and service temperature. Polyetherimide (PEI) is sensitive to certain chemicals, has moderate impact resistance, and exhibits poorer fluidity than standard engineering plastics, requiring mold temperature control during molding.
