Polycarbonate (abbreviated as PC in English), also known as PC plastic, is a high molecular polymer containing carbonate groups in its molecular chain. Due to the structural particularity of polycarbonate, it has become the fastest-growing general-purpose engineering plastic among the five major engineering plastics.

Key Advantages

Mechanical Properties: It features high strength and elastic modulus, high impact strength, excellent fatigue resistance, good dimensional stability, minimal creep (negligible change even under high-temperature conditions), high transparency, and unrestricted dyeability.
Heat Aging Resistance: It has a wide operating temperature range; the UL temperature index of reinforced PC reaches 120~140℃ (with excellent long-term outdoor aging resistance).
Solvent Resistance: Free from stress cracking.
Hydrolytic Stability: Prone to decomposition when exposed to water at high temperatures (caution is required for use in high-temperature and high-humidity environments).
Insulation Performance: Excellent (maintains stable electrical properties even in humid and high-temperature conditions, making it an ideal material for manufacturing electronic and electrical components).
Dielectric Constant: 3.0-3.2.
Arc Resistance: 120s.
Moldability: Can be injection-molded or extruded with standard equipment.
